Interior design for two barns with very different styles

This project was awarded the Best Luxury Residential Interior Design in the Luxury Lifestyle Awards. Our client asked us to design the interiors of their two barns in Amersham, Buckinghamshire. One was a traditional barn and the other a larger, modern new build barn. The detail of the modern barn was very important, with the client wanting a sleek and striking interior design. It was a timber frame construction, so everything had to be designed to work within the limits of the structure and before manufacture started.

Good coordination with our architects at JDA and the contractor, Barr Build, was key to this project to ensure that there were no problems once on site. The client was delighted with the outcome, as were we.
