Refurbishment of Grade II listed brewery to create 38 new dwellings

Working closely with a local developer and wider consultant team on this prestigious historically significant Grade II listed former maltings site in Old Amersham, we have developed proposals to create 38 new dwellings. The dwellings will be created through a combination of the sensitive repurposing and refurbishment of the existing listed buildings and some new additions designed to complement the historic setting.

Where new interventions have been made these are clearly delineated by their design and use of materials to distinguish them from the historic fabric, and we have proposed the removal of later interventions that have caused harm or detracted from the listed building setting, and restored parts of the buildings to view that were previously obscured.
