Five new homes in the Green Belt

This proposal for 5 new homes is located on a brownfield site in the Green Belt. The houses have been sympathetically designed to sit comfortably in their rural surroundings and take design cues from local vernacular farm buildings, built with a modern twist. The linear arrangement ensures the new development sits on the same footprint as the existing buildings. Materials include local Chiltern’s brick, black timber cladding and slate roof tiles.

The wonderful landscape scheme, designed by McWilliam Studio, is a key part of the proposal. They have designed a vibrant scheme that marries perfectly with the new homes, enriches biodiversity, and improves the visual appearance of the site and view from the public footpath.
