Complete remodel of a large family home

This project saw a rather dated house built c1990 being extended, remodelled and upgraded internally and externally, to create a modern home for an expanding family.  The project was carried out in collaboration with JDI who also acted as Lead Consultant.

Previously a series of individual rooms, the ground floor now includes an open plan kitchen, dining and family space, as well as a formal sitting room, library/study and, garden room, playroom for the kids, large utility and boot room and a cinema room in what used to be the double garage.  Upstairs includes a generous master suite and 7 further bedrooms, 2 of which are located in the extended and converted loft space.

Externally JDA also designed and obtained planning consent for a triple garage with accommodation over, as well as a new garden building to house a pool and gym designed to meet Permitted Development guidelines.
