Extensive pool and treatment facilities designed under Permitted Development

This new detached outbuilding contains a 15m long level-deck swimming pool and represents the third phase of a larger project.  The first phase saw the conversion and renovation of a detached annexe and the second involved the major refurbishment and extension of the main house.

JDA designed a modern, pavilion style building, with three walls of glass around the pool to allow for uninterrupted views through the pool hall to the garden and wider countryside beyond.  Large sliding doors open up in the spring/ summer months to create a direct connection with the garden and terraced area.

Along with the swimming pool, the main pool hall includes a hydrotherapy pool, experience shower and steam room, and the large T-shaped building also includes changing facilities, a gym, treatment room, laundry facilities, kitchenette, and plant room.
