Single storey rear extension and loft conversion to bungalow

JDA were approached to redesign an approved proposal of a rear extension, dormer window and roof terrace, with the intention of improving the design of this scheme both aesthetically and functionally.

The site is ½ an acre set within the Green belt and Chilterns AONB in Aylesbury. The rear extension is mindful to both the existing property's scale, but also the 'openness of the Green Belt' in its proportionality.

The scheme opens up the interior spaces to the new terrace & stunning garden views. The ground floor provides a sun lounge, spa/pool room & new boot room. However, at first floor, JDA converted the existing loft space into a master suite. Which also makes use of the view, with wide, floor to ceiling glazing & balcony area.
