Designed to sit comfortably in its suburban street-scene, the house is a modern take on the Arts and Crafts style so prevalent in the Chilterns. Traditional materials have been used including: Chiltern brick, plain clay tiles, render and timber windows, and design details such as the brick framing around windows, and a course of plinth headers forming a bracket course beneath the vertical tile hanging adds interest and character. An open plan, family living space runs across the back of the house and connects with the rear garden.
