Replacement dwelling & renovated barn with a modern twist on the local vernacular

Located within the Green Belt and AONB, this new build, replacement dwelling combines traditional materials & the local vernacular, with a contemporary twist. 

The new, main house, features three juxtaposed fragments which emulate the traditional barn-like typology of the local area & sensitively placed to avoid root protection zones of several trees.

Alongside this modern, family home, JDA renovated the existing barn on site to provide an generous annex.
