Our experienced team can help you to achieve the very best for your project.
We are a design led architecture and interior design practice established in 1992, based in Little Chalfont, Buckinghamshire. The practice specialises in high end residential projects along with educational, community, commercial, leisure and residential developments.
A tenacious approach to planning for nearly 30 years has given us the experience to advise our clients on obtaining valuable consents for even the most challenging of sites and has provided us with a strong reputation for successful planning negotiations, particularly in the Green Belt, Conservation Areas and on Listed Buildings.
We offer a complete architectural service from inception to completion, including: briefing, development appraisals, feasibility studies, concept design, through planning and building regulations, lead consultant role, technical design and detailing, builder liaison, tendering, contract administration.
Our Interior Designers can add their skills to an architectural project, by designing all interiors from room layouts, technical detailing, through to adding the finishing touches of soft furnishings. They can also source products for you with amazing discounts. If a project does not need a lot or any architectural work the interiors department can head your project all the way through.
We currently have a team of 20, comprised of: architects, interior designers, technologists, an architect in training, and administration staff.
We are proud to say that from September 2015 to August 2017, Jane Duncan was President of the Royal Institute of British Architects.
In March 2020, and after more than 20 years with the practice, Julie and Jonathan were pleased to announce they had taken ownership of Jane Duncan Interiors and Jane Duncan Architects respectively. Jane continues to work with us as the transition is made.
“Our brief was surpassed at every stage of our project. The vision, planning, organisation and teamwork went incredibly smoothly and budgets well managed. The end result is a light-filled home we absolutely love, which is particularly special as a result of the architectural input we would never have thought of.” – Private Client
